Let’s start this post with wishing everyone a happy summer time! This month I wanted to share a tutorial about a fun spinner card. I used the oh so cute rub-ons designs of the Pink Paislee Hometown Summer line which are great to work with but of course you can also handcut images from the awesome patterned papers that are in this July kit.
The card is easily to accomplish, this is what you have to do to create one yourself:
I started with printing 2 circles on an A4 paper and folded the paper 4 times.

Draw lines over the folds and punch little holes in the middle and at the end of every line.

Then I printed the same circles on cardstock and used the A4 paper as a mask for punching the holes again, this time in the cardstock.
Because of the holes you can easily draw lines on the cardstock without having to fold this paper too.

Time for the fun part: decide where you want to put those cute images and add text.

Now you need an arrow, make sure to use a large brad and some extra metal rings to create some extra space between the arrow and the spinner card so it will actually spin.

I used the words: swim, home, play, BBQ, picnic, skate, ice and board game.

Here’s my finished project.

Well I am hoping everyone will enjoy this idea and for those who really NEED to make their summer vacation interactive and don’t have time to make one:
