When it’s my turn to provide a sketch, I prefer to see the kit before I design a sketch to make allowance for embellishments, ribbon, etc. Sometimes I first make a layout myself and then I make a sketch. To be honest; for this one I checked my file of favorite layouts and chose one I liked best to go with the kit stuff. Then I made a sketch quite similar to that fun layout and came up with this one.

And it is so much fun to see how Petra gave this ‘twist’ to the sketch. Great reflection!

I didn’t have the sketch in mind when I made my first layout with the kit. At least I thought it wasn’t on my mind but much to my own surprise I recognized it as a mirror image of my sketch.  So this is un unconscious example  

This one isn’t unconscious at all because this backpack is on my mind for quite some weeks/months.
