Do you enjoy summer? With all it’s outdoor activities, ice cream, BBQ and cold drinks like this punch f.e.?

Well, we always celebrate 3 Birthdays (of our family of 4) during our vacation abroad and all the confetti and lemon circles in this punch inspired me to some ‘punch-art’ :) 

During our 2010 vacation Ivo turned 13 but believe me - when you have a 13 yrs old in the house, you often long for the good ol’days when he was just a little cute guy with his natural curls i.o. sticky jelly

I punched the 7 after painting.

and I did the same with the letters…

We always spend the summervacation where mountains are. I enjoyed the hiking days with the kids; nowadays they stay on the campsite when Erik and I go out for a hike.

So again I went on a sentimental journey with the layout WIJ samen (= we/us together). The trees got punches and so did the punched out flowers, which were now turned into buttons.  

 By the way, for both layouts and the cards I used the Scrap-Club July Kit. The negative of the Jenni Bowlin stickers looks like punch art too

And for this last card with best wishes I used square punches. 

Well, let’s hope we’ll have another warm August and September and some more sunny punch.
