Ssssssht….I’m gonna tell you a little secret…
It’s one of those secrets of the Heidi Swapp advertisements last year.
And I’m honored to give you the tip of her secret new items: The Invisibles.
The DT members played with the alphabet in the July Kit and it was so much fun to notice that any kind of medium will give this fun effect!
For example the water-soluble wax pastels:

Petra created a beautiful effect by giving more or less pressure when colouring the letters.
I copied that effect in a vertical direction by using the same colors as Petra did and let both colors mix when adding water.
You can do the same with the shadowpaint medium.
First add water to the invisibles, then add shadowpaint colors for a bright magical effect!
So my title ‘Feeling okay’ is created with two different water color mediums.
The wax pastels give a little more soft and stained result.
With paint dabbers it’s possible to more or less color for a fun result. When adding too much paint, the effect will not show. So you can partially color the letters with more paint to hide the effect.

Like any other medium you can add alcohol ink as much as you want to create the effect you’re looking for. Just give it a try!
All kind of inks, like distress ink, chalk ink, etc. will last on the Heidi Swapp Invisibles and result in the relief like the squares in the alphabet of the July kit. Revlie faded the ink colors in her titlework and Petra added this creative touch wiht a permanent marker.

Just experiment like we did and please show us your result in the gallery. My next experiment will be some stamping on this fun material!
Wishing you sunny scrapbooking days!
