Hi everybody,

I wanted to share the way I changed the background of the picture I used for the “NIEUW”layout, made with the October kit. As I really liked the picture of Tim, all ready for his first day at his new school, but not the busy background I decided to change it.

This is the original picture.

I changed the picture into focus black&white using Picasa (a free Google download). And started scratchting the background part in every direction possible.

After that I sanded the picture and used I white wax pastel.

With this result. I hope you like it. Give it try too!
