First start by cutting the cardboard. You can see the different sizes on the picture.

You also have to make an incision of 2 cm. in the front. That is where you fold a little piece of cardboard that will hold the clip board.

I used double sided tape to fix the different parts together. Of course (and that’s an idea of my friend Anne) you can cut the front and the two sides from one piece and fold it. For the roof you need a piece of cardboard that measures 10 cm. by 20 cm and fold it in the middle. Put some printed paper on the outside and paint on the back. I also used chalk to decorate all the edges ( I love chalk).  Then BEFORE you put the roof on the birdhouse: fasten the ribbon with staples on to the roof. Otherwise the double sided tape will let loose. And you don’t want that to happen.  Have fun decorating your birdhouse!
