Kit Layouts

Petra van Osch

I wanted this layout to have a simple and clean look as my wish for Christmas is simple too.

My boys always celebrate Christmas eve with their dad and I really miss them that evening and on Christmas
Morning. My Christmas starts at 16.oo hours when they come home and I just love the moment that we’re
together again.

better not pout

So after seeing only sneaks here’s the first layout I’ll share with you. And if you want to see more….. well, you just have to visit this blog a lot the next few days ;)

The journaling is printed on A4 cardstock and placed behind the frame. For the white dots on the picture I used a white permanent marker, the kind that is also available in black. I added some paint and a felt star. The rest is from the gorgeous kit!

The story is about our Christmas tradition: each year the boys may choose a new Christmas decoration for our tree and some day when they’ll have their own Christmas tree the boys can use these ornaments to decorate it. In 2006 Thomas didn’t find a beautiful ornament but a big stuffed deer. He was dissapointed when I told him that I wouldn’t let him buy the toy as there were so many stuffed toys waiting for him at home. A few minutes later he dissapeared and when I searched for him I found him in a quiet corner of the shop, he was crying, holding the deer in his arms.

And I’ll put a new sneak on the blog too. You’ll find it in the sneak post.

Have a nice Saturday! xPetra

My layouts are my biggest wishes to Santa: SNOW!! Close-ups are on my blog!!

I wish you a nice saturday too!!

Hi Christiane and Petra I love your LO’s. I was already looking for your LO with the kit. So this is the place, need to get use to it :)

And Petra the journaling on your LO, I almost see it happen, Thomas crying with the deer. Maybe it is that I’m a little sentimental tonight (probably something with the pregnancy hormones ;) ) but I’m almost crying with him. I think I couldn’t resist it and needed to buy it for him (I know bad, bad, bad).
Can’t wait to see the rest of the LO’s!! goodnight
Astrid

Wow what a great lay-outs, love the dear santa
